New Delhi: Tearing to pieces the understanding arrived at the Sangh Parivar conclave not to criticise
individuals, firebrand Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Praveen Togadia on May 4 pooh-poohed
Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee's Pakistan policy and his views on hindutva.
Participating in a 'Trishul Diksa' programme a day after the three-day Parivar meet, Togadia also made
a scathing attack on Congress party and its president Sonia Gandhi ridiculing her as his "marketing
guru".
"We are not bonded labourers of any political party. The trishul dikhsa is not aimed at making BJP win or
Congress lose," Togadia told hundreds of Bajrang Dal activists in Lakshmi Nagar area of East Delhi.
Urging Vajpayee to punish Pakistan instead of forgiving it, the VHP leader said, "We don't want Lahore
bus, Samjhauta express or Agra talks. We want our military tanks in Lahore, missiles in Rawalpindi and
the saffron flag in Karachi."
Ridiculing Vajpayee's oft-repeated warnings to Pakistan on cross-border terrorism, he said, "You have
scored a century in issuing warnings like Sachin Tendulkar, Jehadi terrorism will not end with warnings. It
will continue till Pakistan is dismembered and India is reunified."
"Instead of our suffering from Kashmir to Kanyakumari they (Pakistan) should suffer from Karachi to
Kandahar," he thundered.
At their meeting, Sangh outfits had agreed not to criticise individuals or organisations within the parivar.
