'Legends of India' life award for Sabri, Sehgal

New Delhi: Sarangi maestro Ustad Sabri Khan and theatre personality Zohra Sehgal were conferred the 'Legend of India' lifetime achievement awards at the Fifth Dance Masters of America (DMA) Music Festival.

Information and Broadcasting Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad presented the awards on May 4.

Renowned vocalist Parveen Sultana, flute maestro Pandit Hari Parsad Chaurasia, sitar player Prateek Choudhury, drum wizard Sivamani, Louis Banks and violin legend Dr L Subramanium performed at the three-day event.
