KLM Dutch airlines resumes flight to Kolkata

Kolkata: The KLM Royal Dutch airlines, which had withdrawn its flight to Kolkata from July last year, resumed its services early on May 7, sources at Kolkata's N C Bose international airport said.

A KLM flight, between Amsterdam and Kolkata via New Delhi, touched down at the airport at around 2.00 am (IST) with 20 passengers, the sources said.

The flight left with 23 passengers at around 4.00 am (IST), the sources said.

KLM will operate one flight out of the city every week.

KLM will be the sixth international carrier to touch the city, the other ones being Singapore Airlines, British Airways, Royal Jordanian, Bangladesh Biman and Royal Brunei.
