Asia's largest ITES-BPO meet in B'lore from June

Bangalore: NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Services Companies) will organise its annual ITES-BPO strategy summit -- largest of its kind in Asia –in Bangalore from June 12.

The two-day industry event would bring together thought leaders, analysts, industry players, government officials, Venture Capitalists and international players on a single platform, a NASSCOM statement said.

More than 300 companies are expected to be represented at the conference with more than 700 delegates, it said.

The event, NASSCOM said, would comprehensively cover trends in the industry as well as issues faced by it, adding, stalwarts from the industry will discuss industry trends and give insights into the industry's future.

Some of the important discussion areas will include; market consolidation, innovative business models, moving up the value chain, non-core to core, country competitiveness, new service lines and what customers want ?

NASSCOM Chairman Som Mittal said the event is targeted to provide an opportunity for Indian players to interact with peers in other countries as well as share experiences with each other and gain tips from global thought leaders in the industry.

The event would also provide an opportunity for industry players to sort out some of the issues facing the sector today, it was stated.

The event is attracting well-known international speakers from companies such as Xchanging, Exult, McKinsey & Co, and IBM, the statement added.
