Mumbai: Share values resumed barely steady and moved in a narrow range at opening session on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on May 8.

The BSE-30 share sensitive index opened steady at 2,980.25 as against May 7 close of 2,980.74 and was trapped in a narrow breadth of 2,983.51 and 2,969.24 before being quoted at 2,982.76 at 10.30 am (IST).
