Thursday, May 8 2003 13:18 Hrs (IST)

Wagah (Indo-Pak border): In the midst of moves for normalising relations with India, a 13-member delegation of Pakistan Members of Parliament (MPs) belonging to various parties walked into India crossing the border in Wagah.

The delegation, headed by Ishaq Khan, crossed into India at 12.45 pm (IST) to a rousing welcome from a group of people and officials, including the Mayor of Amritsar.

Shortly after a photo session, the delegation members were taken to a Border Security Force (BSF) camp for a formal welcome.

The members are on a goodwill visit on an invitation from the India-Pakistan Forum for Peace and Democracy.
