Kishanganj (Bihar): RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) president, Laloo Prasad Yadav, on May 9 described the Vajpayee government at the Centre as the weakest government-ever which does not have the strength to withstand US pressure.

''Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee starts shuddering every time American President George Bush calls on him...The NDA (National Democratic Alliance) government at the Centre is the weakest ministry the country has ever had,'' Yadav said while addressing party workers.

The entire world protested against the US-led attack on Iraq, but the Indian government did not have the guts to even bring a censure resolution in Parliament, he said criticising the Vajpayee government's advocacy of adopting a middle path on the Iraq issue.

''What is this middle path? We don't understand it,'' he said.

Describing the BJP as 'Ramlila Mandali' (a group of artistes performing folk drama), Laloo said, ''Let them describe me as a joker, I will not stop before finishing off the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) that is out to foment communal tension in the country.''

He appealed to the people, particularly the minorities, to understand the threat posed by the BJP-led communal forces and asked them never to cast vote in favour of the BJP.
