Ludhiana: The visiting Pakistani Parliamentary delegation was jeered and shown black flags by Shiv
Sena activists at three places in Punjab on May 8.
No sooner had the delegation walked over to the Indian side, Shiv Sena workers waived black flags and
shouted slogans against them at the Wagah check post itself.
Later, as they boarded the Shatabdi Express for New Delhi, Sena activists in Jalandhar and Ludhiana
railway stations waived black flags at the train.
During the brief halts the train had at both the places, the activists shouted anti-Pakistan slogans, telling
the Parliamentarians to go back.
At Jalandhar, Swami Pushpinder, the president of the state wing of Shiv Sena, said the 'sainiks' would
protest at every halt the train made en route Delhi.
Despite tight security made outside the railway stations following information about Shiv Sena plans,
they managed to sneak into the stations in ones and twos.
When the train arrived at the stations, they took out black flags from their pockets and
shouting "Kashmir hamara hai (Kashmir is ours)", "Pakistan murdabad" and "Pak MPs go back".
The activists were taken out of the railway station by the police personnel. No arrests have been made,
police sources said in Ludhiana.
