Pak MP's buoyed by warm Indian reception

New Delhi: Reception in India at every level has been nothing but warm, says Ishaq Khan Khakwani, leader of the 12 Parliamentarians who are in this country on a goodwill mission. Speaking at the Pakistan High Commission on May 12 Khakwani said they received unprecedented respect and honour from the Indians. Huge media teams, both print and electronic, gave optimum coverage to their visit, he added.

The Indian Parliamentarians and leaders of the political parties have also warmly welcomed the group. The Pakistani MPs also held meeting with the intellectuals and former diplomats, including Naresh Chandra, S K Singh, G Parthasarthy, Ashok Bhan, Vijay Grover and others, Khan stated.

At these meetings, issues pertaining to Human Rights violations and terrorism were discussed.
