Bihar Governor shifted to Arunachal, 5 others moved

New Delhi: In a gubernatorial reshuffle, Bihar Governor V C Pande was on May 13 shifted to Arunachal Pradesh, while five others were also transferred.

Retired justice and Jharkhand Governor M Rama Jois will take the place of Pande who moves to Arunachal Pradesh for the remaining of his term, a Rashtrapati Bhavan press communique said.

Arvind Dave, the incumbent in Arunachal Pradesh moves to Manipur with additional charge of Assam.

Manipur Governor Ved P Marwah has been moved to Jharkhand in place of Rama Jois.

Tripura Governor lieutenant general (retired) K M Seth has swapped place with D N Sahaya of Chattisgarh.

The appointments will take effect from the date the incumbents assume charge of their respective offices.
