2 LeT militants killed in Jammu, hideouts busted

Jammu: Three persons, including two hardcore ultras of Pakistan-based Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) outfit,
were killed in two separate incidents in Doda and Rajouri districts of Jammu division where security
forces have busted two militant hideouts and recovered arms and ammunition from them, official sources
said on May 13.
Security forces gunned down two LeT ultras during an encounter in Banihal areas of Doda district on
May 12, the sources said adding they have been identified as Abu Abral, district commander and Abu
Omer.
Recoveries from the site of the encounter included one AK rifle with its nine magazines and 187 rounds,
four hand grenades and one radio set, they said.
In another incident, police recovered the body of Mohammad Akram who was kidnapped by militants
from his residence in Budhal area and later killed.
Security forces busted a hideout in Surankote area of Poonch district and recovered two anti-tank
grenades, two snipper rounds, one radio set antenna and seventeen kgs nail and boots.
Another hideout was busted by troops in Gool area of Udhampur district and recovered one rifle
bayonet and two kgs explosives.
