Union Cabinet reshuffle likely on May 24 or 25
Friday, May 16 2003 18:27 Hrs (IST)

New Delhi: A reshuffle of the Union Cabinet, including induction of some new faces, is likely to take place on May 24 or 25, highly placed sources said.

While indicating the possibility of new entrants in the Ministry, the sources ruled out any reduction in the cabinet size.

However, they refused to divulge the names of any new entrant.

There is speculation that Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee and former Union Minister Shanta Kumar may be re-inducted in the Cabinet.
