IBM employee detained in Malaysia, reason yet unknown

Bangalore: An employee of Bangalore-based software major IBM has been detained by Malaysian authorities, according to company sources.

Narendra Babu, working in the planning department of IBM, was detained while he was boarding a flight back home, the sources said.

The reason for detention of Babu on May 23 evening was not known, they said.

An IBM spokesman declined to comment.
