Two notorious Dawood aides deported from Dubai
Thursday, May 29 2003 20:24 Hrs (IST)

Mumbai: Two notorious gangsters, owing allegiance to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim were deported from Dubai tonight (May 29).

The duo, Riyaz Siddiqui and Rajkumar Sharma would be brought to Mumbai tonight by an Air India flight, city police commissioner R S Sharma told reporters in Mumbai.

Both are wanted in cases of murder, attempt to murder and other serious offences.

Red Corner notices were earlier issued against these gangsters by courts in Mumbai, he said.

The deportation of Dawood aides would deal a heavy blow to the underworld don's gang as seven members of D-gang were deported in the recent past, senior crime branch officials claimed.
