13 killed in attack on air force bus in Russia

Moscow: At least 13 people were killed in a bomb attack on a bus carrying Russian Air Force servicemen in North Ossetia, which borders the breakaway Republic of Chechnya, Itar-Tass news agency reported on June 5.

The attack happened at Mozdok, where there is a large military base, the agency said quoting the headquarters of the Russian federal forces in the North caucusus.

The bus service was between Mozdok and the air base six kilometres away.
