Monsoon finally hits Kerala, more showers expected

New Delhi: After a delay of about a week, monsoon arrived in Kerala on June 8 with rains lashing several parts of the state.

Met Department sources said conditions are favourable for its further advance into coastal and south- interior Karnataka during next two days.

Monsoon, which usually arrives in the state on June 1, got delayed this year.
