Jammu: Pursuing the dialogue process, Centre's interlocutor on Jammu and Kashmir, N N Vohra begins his second round of talks with political and social leaders during a weeklong visit to Jammu from June 8.

Vohra, who is visiting Jammu for the first time after his appointment as the Centre's pointman, is accompanied by a team of 8 officials to hold interaction with leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Panthers Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, and some prominent social organisations in Jammu like the Dogra Sadar Sabha and a few Kashmiri Pundit organisations.

Vohra is believed to have taken the guidance of Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee during a meeting two days ago on the modalities of talks in Jammu.

He had visited Kashmir valley for nine days from April 21 were he met mainstream political and social leaders and discussed various aspects of Kashmir situation.

However the separatist Hurriyat Conference is yet to respond to his invitation for talks.

After holding interactions in Jammu, Vohra is likely to visit Leh and Kargil to meet to get a first hand knowledge of the aspirations of the local populace in the frontier region.
