Three militants killed in J&K, weaponry seized

Poonch: Three militants were killed and a security jawan injured in Poonch district of Jammu and
Kashmir on June 8 official sources said.
On specific information that a group of foreign mercenaries were operating in the Nanglo Sahab forest
belt, troops cordoned off the area early on June 9 to track them down, the sources said.
When the troops were approaching a hideout militants hurled grenade and opened fire on them, and in
the fierce gun battle that followed three militants were killed and a jawan injured, the sources said.
The recoveries from the site of encounter included three AK
rifles with seven magazines, nine improvised explosive devices, three hand grenades, one radio set, Rs
9000 in Indian currency and Rs1000 in Pak currency.
