3 killed in electrocution in Bihar, 65 injured

Ara: Bihar, Three persons of a marriage party were electrocuted and 65 others received burn injuries on June 10, in separate incidents of electrocution in Bihar.

Three persons were electrocuted and 15 others received burn injuries when they touched a high- tension electric wire while climbing down from the roof of a stationary bus at Babura village in Bhojpur district, official sources said.

All the injured were admitted to hospital at Ara where the condition of three persons was stated to be serious.

In a separate incident, at least 50 people received burn injuries when the bus, in which they were travelling, came in contact with a high-tension electric wire hanging from a pole near Harolpatti village in Darbhanga district, the sources said.

The bus was on its way to Darbhanga town from Singnia block.

The injured have been admitted to hospital here.
