Srinagar: Six persons, including three militants were killed and four injured in separate militancy-related incidents in Jammu and Kashmir since June 10 night, a police spokesman said.

Two militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Banihal area of Doda district in Jammu region on June 10 night and two AK assault rifles, a pistol and two grenades were recovered from them, the spokesman said.

He said security forces killed another militant, belonging to Hizbul Mujahideen outfit, at Rajdhani Begla in Thanamandi area of Rajouri district. An AK rifle, a grenade gun and some ammunition and grenades were recovered from him.

A 12-year-old boy was killed when some explosive substance exploded while he was grazing his cattle at Turmaida in Badgam district of Anantnag district on June 11 morning.

A civilian was killed when he was caught in a crossfire between militants and security forces at Kot Pathri forest in Udhampur district of Jammu on June 10 night, he said.

The spokesman said militants shot at and injured a surrendered ultra Fayaz Ahmad Bhat outside his house at Sopore in Baramulla district on June 10 night.

Militants also intruded into the house of one Nazir Hussain at Sudang in Rajouri and assaulted his wife Gulzara Begum, cousin Gulzar Begam and son Mohammad Hafiz causing injuries to them, the spokesman said.

He said security forces busted a hideout at Surankote in Poonch and recovered 530 kgs of ration, a wireless set and some ammunition on June 10 night.
