Sargodha (Pakistan): The Pakistan Peoples' Party-Parliamentarians (PPPP) is not against Islamisation,
but will not allow anybody to impose Taleban-style regime.
This has been stated by Punjab PPPP president and Opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Qasim
Zia, at a press conference, 'Dawn' reports.
About the Punjab Assembly affairs, Zia, speaking on June 11, said the Opposition had placed a three-
point agenda in its requisition for smooth running of the House proceedings. First, action must be taken
against those who insulted and restrained the Opposition members from attending the Assembly
session, which was a gross violation and denial of privileges of the members.
Secondly, all the Bills passed should be reopened for discussion enabling Opposition to record their
opinion and thirdly, all the development schemes suggested by the Treasury should be discussed.
