Rashtrapathi Bhawan will be paperless in 2-3 months

Bangalore: Rashtrapathi Bhawan is going paperless and products developed by New Delhi-based IT
product firm Newgen Software Technologies Ltd, is helping it go seamless in the next 2-3 months, a
company official said.
"We are executing a project through Wipro to make Rashtrapathi Bhawan a paperless office. The
project started in May to convert the President's office into a paperless office," Newgen Software
Technologies Ltd Vice President-
Sales and Marketing Punit Jain told reporters on June 13.
He said Newgen's two products -- OmniFlow, a platform independent, scalable workflow solution that
enables automation of organisation business solutions and OmniCapture, a production scanning system
for high volume paper to image conversion, indexing and filing -- are being used for the
project.
"The President's office gets mails, petitions and letters and our solutions help in automating it, which can
help in accessing the information whenever it is required from a database," Jain said.
He said Wipro bagged the order for computerisation of Rashtrapathi Bhawan.
The Rs 35 crore Newgen, Jain said, is the only Indian firm to develop document management, workflow
and imaging solutions products and has over 400 people including 300 strong R&D team at Delhi.
