Dy PM Advani arrives in London for talks

London: After his weeklong visit to the US, Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani arrived in London on June 15 morning by an Air India commercial flight for talks with British Prime Minister Tony Blair and his Cabinet colleagues on a gamut of issues including terrorism, New Delhi's peace initiative with Pakistan and international and bilateral relations.

On his arrival in London, the Deputy Prime Minister was warmly received by the Indian High Commissioner Ronen Sen, Air India regional director for UK and Ireland Captain Ashwani Kumar Sharma and others.

Advani, on a four-day visit to UK at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott will meet Blair on June 16 morning followed by a luncheon with Home Secretary David Blunkett.
