Fake currency racket bust, six arrested

Bangalore: Karnataka police have busted a fake currency racket and nabbed six persons, including one from Maharashtra, for their alleged involvement in it.

Interrogation revealed that the six were carrying out the racket for the past several months in Maharashtra and Karnataka, police said on June 16.

As many as 16 fake currency notes of 'face value of Rs 100' were recovered from the six, who hailed from Bailahongala, YamaKanamardi and Hanchinala in Karnataka and Maharashtra's Gadahinglaja, police added.
