Moscow: Indian Army Chief Gen NC Vij on June 16 discussed inter-services cooperation and military exchanges with his Russian counterpart, Commander-in-Chief of land forces Col Gen Nikolai Kormiltsyev.

Gen Vij arrived in Moscow on June 15 on a weeklong goodwill visit at the invitation of Col-Gen Kormiltsyev.

During the stay, the Chief of Army Staff will visit some of the top Russian military units and defence production facilities in Moscow, Tula and St Petersburg, official sources said.
