Kashmir figures in Musharraf, Blair talks

London: A day after meeting Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani, British Prime Minister Tony Blair on
June 17 held talks with Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf focusing on the "fight against terrorism",
Kashmir issue and the situation in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The Kashmir issue came up while discussing the entire gamut of Indo-Pak relations, sources close to
Pakistan High Commission said.
Pakistan High Commissioner to UK Abdul Kader Jaffer and UK High Commissioner to Islamabad Mark
Lyall Grant received Musharraf, who is on a three-day official visit to the UK, at the airport.
Describing the visit as significant, Grant said, "It is an official visit and it would be a very good
opportunity for him to discuss with the British Prime Minister some of the key local, regional and global
issues which are of great interest to both Pakistan and the UK."

Development Commission Dr Nasim Ashraf, Information and Broadcasting secretary Syed Anwar
Mahmood and Foreign Secretary Riaz Khokhar, accompanies Musharraf.
