US deports Indian for fake travel documents

New Delhi: The US on June 19 deported a resident of Punjab after detecting that he was in possession of fake documents.

Devinder Singh of Hoshiarpur reached Delhi on June 19 morning after being evicted from America, police sources said.

Immediately after his landing, he was taken in for questioning by a joint team of police and intelligence agencies to ascertain how he obtained the forged travel documents, they said.
