Kanchipuram: Sankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam Jayendra Saraswathi, on June 19 said a solution to the Ayodhya tangle would be found soon and 'hopefully early'.

He said that he did not know whether the tangle would be solved before the next Lok Sabha polls.

Asked whether there was any time limit for a solution set in his fresh package, he said it was not for him to talk about it now. But it was high time that a solution was arrived at, he said.

Earlier the President A P J Abdul Kalam called on him. When asked whether they discussed the Ayodhya issue, the seer said they discussed only the 'spiritual side of religion'.
