Blast in Maharasthra, woman among two killed

Ahmednagar: Two persons, including a woman, were killed in a blast in Shivaji Nagar area of Akole town in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, police said.

The victims bodies were ripped into several pieces due to the impact of the blast, that occurred after gelatine sticks exploded yesterday, police said.

The deceased were identified as Surekha Baban Awani (22) and Laxman Sawaleram Awani (30), police said.

The cause of the blast was yet to be ascertained.
