CAS: Cable operators to offer all channels for Rs. 222

New Delhi: In a move to bring broadcasters under further pressure, Cable operators on June 21 announced that they would provide all channels including pay and Free To Air (FTA) to consumers at Rs.222 in the Conditional Access System (CAS) regime, being introduced in the four metros on July 15.

An announcement to this effect was made at a press conference here by independent cable operators and representativesof four Multi-Service Providers. They said that the rates do not include the taxes.
