Ahmedabad: Despite India extending a "hand of friendship" to Pakistan, there has been no let-up in the infiltration from across the border, Defence Minister George Fernandes said on June 23.

"There has been no notable decrease in infiltration. The firing across the border continues and so does the infiltration," Fernandes said in reply to a question on whether there has been some let-up after India extended a hand of friendship to Pakistan.
