HTMT to set up BPO unit in Mauritius

Bangalore: HTMT, the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) arm of the Hinduja Group, on June 25 announced setting up of a BPO unit in Mauritius besides acquiring a 900-seat call centre in the Philippines to be ramped up to 2,000 as part of its expansion strategy.

"The call centre company is already serving a few Fortune 500 clients and the legal and financial due diligence exercise by Crawford Bayley and Company, Solicitors and PriceWaterhouse Coopers has been completed. A decision on the acquisition structure and other details will be taken shortly," HTMT Vice Chairman S Soloman Raj said in a statement.
