President Kalam's three day tour of Kashmir begins

Jammu: President A P J Abdul Kalam arrived in Jammu on June 26 morning for a three-day visit to the state.

Kalam, who arrived at Jammu airport by a special aircraft around 09.00 hours (IST) was received by the Governor S K Sinha, Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and his Cabinet colleagues and senior civil and security officers.

Before leaving for Udhampur where he will present colours to Jammu and Kashmir police at Sher-i- Kashmir police academy, Kalam was presented a guard of honour at the Jammu airfield.
