Three held in connection with Vatva bomb blast

Ahmedabad: Three persons were arrested in connection with the powerful bomb blast in a rented room,
opposite a mosque in Vatva area on June 26 night, police said.
Another person, who is also wanted in this connection, is reportedly absconding, police said in
Ahmedabad.
Senior police officials told reporters that Mehboob Rangrez, owner of the house in Azim park, where the
blast took place, and the two tenants Yunus Rangrez and Kamru Rangrez were arrested.
Police said that they were all arrested from separate parts of the city this afternoon.
Deputy commissioner of police (Zone VI) S M Katara said no explosives or material have been found
from their possession and none has claimed responsibility for the incident as yet.
Police sources said that officials are on the hunt for one person, who ran a welding shop in the front
portion of the same house where the blast took place, who is reportedly absconding.
