Ayodhya: The Liberhan Commission visited the Saket Degree College and other area close to the
acquired land to gain first hand knowledge of circumstances leading to the demolition of the disputed
structure on December 6 1992.
Justice M S Liberhan, who led the four-member team, first visited the Saket Degree College where the
Rapid Action Force was then stationed but was not given orders to proceed towards the disputed site by
the district authorities, official sources said.
The team also visited "Do Rahi Kaun", Ved Mandir crossing and the Rang Mahal crossing to study the
topography of the areas situated nearby the acquired land.
It studied the revenue map of the localities and also spoke to the revenue departmental officials.
The team is likely to visit the makeshift temple and Ram Katha Kunj where Union Ministers L K Advani, M
M Joshi and other senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders had delivered speeches on the fateful
day.
