Raipur: The Viswa Hindu Parishad said on June 29 it was not ready for any compromise on construction of a Ram temple at Ayodhya and on the Kashi and Mathura issues.

"There will not be any compromise on Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura temple issues," VHP's international general secretary Praveen Togadia told a public meeting.

He asked the people to beware of "those who want to continue in power at the cost of Ram temple, Kashmir or cow slaughter".

Togadia called for a ban on religious institutions "engaged in creating jihadi terrorists who are targeting Hindu temples".

The VHP leader accused Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed of pursuing a policy that led to "the release of terrorists and punishment for policemen killing ultras".

He also criticised the Pope for commenting on the Tamil Nadu Legislation for banning forced conversions.

Addressing the meeting, national convener of the Bajrang Dal Prakash Sharma opposed any discussion with the Muslim Personal Law Board on the Ram temple issue.
