US deploys arms in Seoul against N Korea attack

Seoul: The United States has started deploying weapons in Seoul to protect South Korea from any North Korean attack, as also troops in the non-militarised belt between the two countries, a US journal reported on July 2.

The weapons being deployed included Patriot missiles, two squadrons of Apache helicopters, smart bombs and hundreds of modern tanks and armoured vehicles.
