2 CRPF jawans injured in Tripura landmine blast

Agartala: Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans were injured in a landmine blast at
Baramaidan area of West Tripura district on July 5, police said.
The landmine, planted by suspected insurgents of the banned All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF), went off
when a CRPF convoy was passing through the area at 06:30 hours (IST).
The jawans were admitted to G B Hospital, the police said.
Two vehicles of the convoy were partly damaged in the blast.
Senior officials of CRPF and the police rushed to the spot and a combing operation was launched in the
entire area to nab the culprits, the police added.
