Disc containing information on Babri demolition stolen

Lucknow: A computer hard disc containing information about the Ayodhya demolition case was allegedly
stolen by unidentified burglars from the computer laboratory of Islamiya College in Lucknow, police
sources said.
The disc, which reportedly contained some vital information pertaining to the Babri Masjid demolition
case, belonged to the Sunni Central Waqf Board Council and All India Babri Masjid Action Committee
(AIBMAC) convenor Zafaryab Jilani.
A report about the theft was lodged at the Kaiserbagh police station, the sources said, adding the theft
was allegedly committed on the night of June 18.
On being contacted, Jilani said the disc contained a host of e-mail evidences about the existence of
Babri mosque.
Investigations were on in this regard, police added.
