Kanyakumari: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) international president Ashok Singhal on July 5 reiterated the demand for Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee's resignation for failing to bring in a Legislation on Ayodhya.

Despite the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) distancing itself from the VHP position, Singhal said the demand would be raised in the national executive of the Sangh, which began in Kanyakumari on July 5 morning.

'Whatever we have said outside, we are going to demand inside the session also," the VHP chief said in a chat with journalists after returning from a visit to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial on July 5 morning.
