Roger Federer wins Wimbledon men's singles title

London: Switzerland's Roger Federer won the Wimbledon men's singles title defeating big-serving Australian Mark Philippoussis 7-6, 6-2, 7-6 in the final.

Federer is the first Swiss man to win a Grand Slam singles title.
