Islamabad: In the midst of peace moves by New Delhi, Pakistan Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan on
July 6 pointed a finger at India for the July 6 suicide attack on a mosque which killed 53 people, saying
the incident could be a "fallout" of the new Indian Consulates in Afghanistan's Kandahar and Herat as
also Iran's Zaidan.
Jamali, who had on July 5 blamed "foreign hand" on the attack in Pakistan's South West city of Quetta,
went a few notches ahead on July 6, saying he suspected it could be a fallout of India opening its at
Consulates in Kandahar, Heart and Zaidan.
"We cannot overlook the opening of Indian Consulates in Kandahar, Herat and Zahidanv," he told he
told reporters at the airport after return from Quetta, adding, "The fallout of these Consulates will be fully
investigated."
The high-level investigation committee probing the attack includes Governor of South West Baluchstan
province, Home Minister and the Corps Commander of the area, he said.
Jamali was in Quetta for the past two days to co-ordinate the efforts to contain the riots which broke out
after the attack on the mosque attended by the Shia minority.
Jamali said it was a planned attempt to sabotage the successful tour to US and four other countries
undertaken by President Pervez Musaharraf to improve the image of Pakistan.
