17 held in connection with Pak mosque bombing

Quetta: Police raided homes in South West Pakistan and detained 17 men in connection with the suicide bombing of a mosque in Quetta that killed 44 Shiite Muslims as they prayed, police said on July 6.

The men, whom police have refused to identify by name or nationality, are being questioned about the bombing in the capital of Baluchistan province, near the border with Afghanistan, which also killed at least three attackers.
