Sania-Alisa win girls' title, Paes-Navratilova in final

New Delhi: Sania Mirza became the first Indian female to win a title at Wimbledon when she combined
with Alisa Kleybanova of Russia to triumph in the girls' doubles event on July 6.
Mirza and Kleybanova rallied from a set down to defeat the pair of Katerina Bohmova of Czech Republic
and Michaela Krajicek of Netherlands, 2-6 6-3 6-2 in the final.
Meanwhile, India's Leander Paes and Martina Navratilova of United States
moved into the final of the mixed doubles event at Wimbledon with a straight
sets victory over their opponents on July 6.
The fifth-seeded Paes and Navratilova won 7-5 6-4 against the 10th seeded
pair of Leos Fridel of Czech Republic and Liezel Huber of South Africa in
the semi-finals, according to information received.
In the final later on July 6, Paes and Navratilova will take on the pair of
Andy Ram of Israel and Anastassia Rodionova of Russia.
