Patna: Passengers of an Indian Airlines aircraft on July 12 had a miraculous escape when the plane's left wheel got jammed on landing on the runway at the Jaiprakash Narayan International Airport.

Indian Airlines sources said the pilots, however, aptly handled the situation and all the passengers and crew-members of the Mumbai-New Delhi-Ranchi flight got down safely.

Earlier, the sources said the flight developed snag after landing and while being taxied at the airport.

All flights were suspended to and from Patna following the incident.
