TN government employees call off 11-day-old stir

Chennai: Tamil Nadu government employees associations on July 12 night called off their 11-day old strike.

A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting of the federation of the joint action council of the Tamil Nadu teachers and government employees organisations and the confederation of the Tamil Nadu teachers and government employees associations, K Suryamurthy, president of the Tamil Nadu government employees union told reporters after the meeting.
