Ministry of Mukut Mithi in Arunachal expanded

Itanagar: The Mukut Mithi Ministry in Arunachal Pradesh on July 14 was expanded with the induction of T L Rajkumar into the Cabinet.

The Governor V C Pande administered the oath of office and secrecy to Rajkumar at a simple function in the Raj Bhawan, which was attended by Chief Minister Mukut Mithi, his Cabinet colleagues, Speaker of the state Assembly Tamiyo Tagao and other senior officials.

Rajkumar has been given the portfolio of Information Technology and Science and Technology.

With the induction of Rajkumar, the strength of Mithi Ministry has gone up to 39 including Chief Minister, of which 24 are Cabinet ministers and 15 are ministers of state.

The Arunachal Assembly has a strength of 60, of which the ruling Congress has 59 Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and the Opposition Arunachal Congress has only one MLA.
