K'taka gives Rs 10,000 for Pak girl's medical costs

Bangalore: Karnataka government on July 15 announced release of Rs 10,000 to Pakistani girl Noor Fatima from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund in a "symbolic" gesture to meet part of her medical expenses.

Karnataka Information Minister Allum Veerabhadrappa visited the hospital and enquired about the health of the child soon after she underwent a surgery for her cardiac disorder, an official release said.
