Bangalore: The condition of Pakistani girl Noor Fatima remained "stable" for the second consecutive day on July 17 after she underwent a surgery to plug holes in her heart at a cardiac speciality hospital on the city outskirts.

"Her condition is stable. Her vital parameters are fine", sources at the Narayana Hrudayalaya, where she is recuperating, said on July 17 morning.

Decision regarding removing the child from the ventilator would be taken in the afternoon, they said.

Two and half year old Noor, who came on the first trip of the Lahore-Delhi bus service after its resumption, underwent the operation for Ventricular Septal Defect with pulmonary stenosis on July 15.
