Chennai: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Pravin Togadia, on July 18
categorically stated that the issue of Kashi, Mathura and Ayodhya, were "non-negotiable" and the
members of the minority community should understand the sentiments of the Hindus and give up their
claims.
"We are determined and committed that as far as Kashi, Mathura and Ayodhya are concerned, all these
are non-negotiable. These three are holiest of holy", Togadia, who arrived in Chennai to participate in a
VHP function, told reporters at airport.
He said the claims of the Hindus for building a Ram temple at Ayodhya, was due to "deep devotion". So
the members of a minority community should withdraw their claim, he said.
On the issue of legislation, the VHP leader said he would like to wait for the outcome of BJP's national
executive committee meeting at Raipur in Madhya Pradesh.
"Let them deliberate and decide (at Raipur). Then only I can tell", he added.
